xKkXr-yb`f and roots rock verve. The ten songs here are Garza-ized takes on
8H ,k0~D Christmas standards: "Jingle Bells," "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,"
7b7WQ 7u "Away in a Manger," "Feliz Navidad," "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town,"
# S(b2 LEc "Carol of the Bells," and "Silent Night." The latter two are fine
7u:QT2=& instrumentals. "Carol of the Bells,'" especially, is a deeply satisfying
+ (Jh $b_ guitar and percussion workout that embraces not only hard rhumba
VNs3. drumming, but funk, Mexican folk music, and screaming blues-rock.
A zVv- !Y Hopefully, their version of "Run Rudolph Run" will make Chuck Berry
uQ%3?bx)T proud, with its rumbling upright piano and bassline, and Henry's guitar
