|W}D_2 Everything the brothers Garza play is infected with pure bluesy groove
]l`V#Rd and roots rock verve. The ten songs here are Garza-ized takes on
E&)o.l<h| Christmas standards: "Jingle Bells," "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,"
+W8kMuM! "Away in a Manger," "Feliz Navidad," "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town,"
2nCHL '8N "Carol of the Bells," and "Silent Night." The latter two are fine
e} (8BF instrumentals. "Carol of the Bells,'" especially, is a deeply satisfying
<RcB: h guitar and percussion workout that embraces not only hard rhumba
h?vny->uJ drumming, but funk, Mexican folk music, and screaming blues-rock.
tH:?aP*2 Hopefully, their version of "Run Rudolph Run" will make Chuck Berry

& offering his best modern read of Berry's instrumental innovation on the
