underlying country flavour to it. Whilst once again presented Q  `e~MD  
as a happy little song, there is more than a touch of o/t

bitterness in his words. Funnily enough, the rather twee "The ?8Hn{3X  
Toothbrush Song" would also make a quality country song due to 52>[d3I3  
its dry lyrics even if a cowboy would feel the need to @+}rEe_(  
accompany such emotions with bourbon rather than sparkling qg^(w fI

The pace picks up with the title track "Off the Radar" that [NQmL=l  
truly highlights Mr Kerr's pop sensibilities and offsets his xL9:4'I  
laidback vocal delivery with some spirited guitar. Loves lost mZ`1JO9  
and won (mostly lost though? and a sense of reflection on his pwa.q  
younger years seem a common theme to the songs in this album Bj;\mUsk  
and, indeed, regret is once more evident in "Is It Too Late to /6Y0q9  
Work for NASA" even if it is disguised here with wry humour. g E\A9L~b  
If Bluesbunny closes his eyes, on "Mystery Star" Ally Kerr A{4Dzm!  
seems to transform himself into Edinburgh master popsters 6kP7  
Dropkick and there are certainly worse things to be than that. #0}Ok98P  
If Bluesbunny had to pick a favourite track, it would probably 5i^`vmK  
be "Amorino" evoking, as it does, the melancholic pleasures of fr

The thing that impresses most about this album is the songs [6O04"6K  
themselves. Well crafted and melodic with sharp and observant h8em\<;  
lyrics, they are however presented as a whole lot fluffier 3 sl =>;-  
than they actually are. It must be Ally Kerr's choice to do so Z*h43  
but it does seem that he is deliberately avoiding giving any 3u*82s\8T  
kind of offense. Maybe he never gets angry himself - although Og=[4?Kpk  
his words suggest otherwise -but Bluesbunny feels that he is `ovgWv  
doing his own songs a disservice here by sprinkling an inch of FtN}]@F  
icing sugar on everything. It is not necessary for everything D@#0dDT  
in life to have a cherry on top for it to be appetising. #

Overall, this is a happy, upbeat album that is just a bit too 21ViHV  
polite and well mannered to try and force itself upon your {H+?z<BF<  
affections. The production and arrangements are smoother than #VO.%H}i  
your average Starbuck's decaf latte but it is perhaps fair <>]1Y$^Y

his fans. However, and maybe this is a reviewer thing, a bit Ssw&'B|o  
of fire and even some unpredictability would have been V'j@K!)~xR  
welcome. Then again, the Bluesbunny was always a quadruple +ZclGchw
