intelligent and catchy songs. "I Think I'm Bleeding" has an a_~=#]a  
underlying country flavour to it. Whilst once again presented 4?\:{1X=  
as a happy little song, there is more than a touch of 49H+(*@v@  
bitterness in his words. Funnily enough, the rather twee "The !69&Ld  
Toothbrush Song" would also make a quality country song due to WKfkKk;G  
its dry lyrics even if a cowboy would feel the need to &7e)O

accompany such emotions with bourbon rather than sparkling qet>1<  
mineral water. 8^/I>0EZ

The pace picks up with the title track "Off the Radar" that :aCrX  
truly highlights Mr Kerr's pop sensibilities and offsets his NoE*/!Sr  
laidback vocal delivery with some spirited guitar. Loves lost 4 <dcB @v  
and won (mostly lost though? and a sense of reflection on his (t+;O;  
younger years seem a common theme to the songs in this album ZBT1Y.qA  
and, indeed, regret is once more evident in "Is It Too Late to FzQTDu9  
Work for NASA" even if it is disguised here with wry humour. 'k0[rDFc#3  
If Bluesbunny closes his eyes, on "Mystery Star" Ally Kerr Pz*_)N}j >  
seems to transform himself into Edinburgh master popsters m0n)dje  
Dropkick and there are certainly worse things to be than that. r0;:t  
If Bluesbunny had to pick a favourite track, it would probably -a,-J]d0+  
be "Amorino" evoking, as it does, the melancholic pleasures of <EO$]>;0

The thing that impresses most about this album is the songs CAq/K?:8  
themselves. Well crafted and melodic with sharp and observant s#~GH6/  
lyrics, they are however presented as a whole lot fluffier GPz(j'jU  
than they actually are. It must be Ally Kerr's choice to do so IYn]U4P.  
but it does seem that he is deliberately avoiding giving any Dl(3wgA  
kind of offense. Maybe he never gets angry himself - although _|[

his words suggest otherwise -but Bluesbunny feels that he is ^hNgm.I  
doing his own songs a disservice here by sprinkling an inch of ,2

icing sugar on everything. It is not necessary for everything IJYL s  
in life to have a cherry on top for it to be appetising. !G^L/?z3

Overall, this is a happy, upbeat album that is just a bit too wI]"U2L5  
polite and well mannered to try and force itself upon your tz4 ]qOH8  
affections. The production and arrangements are smoother than ^z1&8k"[^  
your average Starbuck's decaf latte but it is perhaps fair kft#R#m  
comment to say that the omnipresent sugar coating will suit %,S f1fUJ
 
his fans. However, and maybe this is a reviewer thing, a bit *4+3ObA  
of fire and even some unpredictability would have been f`9 b*w

welcome. Then again, the Bluesbunny was always a quadruple 0sN.H=
