:)4c_51 ` Everything the brothers Garza play is infected with pure bluesy groove
Z:<wB#G and roots rock verve. The ten songs here are Garza-ized takes on
n``9H 91 Christmas standards: "Jingle Bells," "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,"
Z<=L "Away in a Manger," "Feliz Navidad," "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town,"
ugj I$u "Carol of the Bells," and "Silent Night." The latter two are fine

)EW instrumentals. "Carol of the Bells,'" especially, is a deeply satisfying
F.@|-wq& guitar and percussion workout that embraces not only hard rhumba
p1.3)=T drumming, but funk, Mexican folk music, and screaming blues-rock.
X $~T*l0 Hopefully, their version of "Run Rudolph Run" will make Chuck Berry
p<mBC2!% proud, with its rumbling upright piano and bassline, and Henry's guitar
