:_?>3c}L and roots rock verve. The ten songs here are Garza-ized takes on
Y)!5Z.K Christmas standards: "Jingle Bells," "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,"
tZ6KU11O "Away in a Manger," "Feliz Navidad," "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town,"
U| y+k` "Carol of the Bells," and "Silent Night." The latter two are fine
zb 9$ instrumentals. "Carol of the Bells,'" especially, is a deeply satisfying
UCq+F96j guitar and percussion workout that embraces not only hard rhumba
RQh4RUm drumming, but funk, Mexican folk music, and screaming blues-rock.
icnp^2P Hopefully, their version of "Run Rudolph Run" will make Chuck Berry
