underlying country flavour to it. Whilst once again presented GUSEbIz):  
as a happy little song, there is more than a touch of vq=nG]cE)  
bitterness in his words. Funnily enough, the rather twee "The Mh3Tfp  
Toothbrush Song" would also make a quality country song due to H[S[ y  
its dry lyrics even if a cowboy would feel the need to MfQ

accompany such emotions with bourbon rather than sparkling Qq+$ea?>

The pace picks up with the title track "Off the Radar" that W"$sN8K>)  
truly highlights Mr Kerr's pop sensibilities and offsets his \SKobO?qI  
laidback vocal delivery with some spirited guitar. Loves lost / -s-W<S[  
and won (mostly lost though? and a sense of reflection on his ZMEU4?F  
younger years seem a common theme to the songs in this album n<3qr}ZG^  
and, indeed, regret is once more evident in "Is It Too Late to _Oc5g5_{  
Work for NASA" even if it is disguised here with wry humour. _Fkz^B*  
If Bluesbunny closes his eyes, on "Mystery Star" Ally Kerr Kjzo>fIC{  
seems to transform himself into Edinburgh master popsters =S#9\W&6Q  
Dropkick and there are certainly worse things to be than that. FLUvFD  
If Bluesbunny had to pick a favourite track, it would probably (X zy~l<  
be "Amorino" evoking, as it does, the melancholic pleasures of maTQ0G

The thing that impresses most about this album is the songs W-D{cU  
themselves. Well crafted and melodic with sharp and observant (P'{A>aHl0  
lyrics, they are however presented as a whole lot fluffier As{"B  
than they actually are. It must be Ally Kerr's choice to do so %>Q[j`9y  
but it does seem that he is deliberately avoiding giving any \w#)uYK{i_  
kind of offense. Maybe he never gets angry himself - although XCvL`  
his words suggest otherwise -but Bluesbunny feels that he is h(C@IIO^;G  
doing his own songs a disservice here by sprinkling an inch of V$0mcwH  
icing sugar on everything. It is not necessary for everything P_}wjz}9ZX  
in life to have a cherry on top for it to be appetising. *{DpNV8"

Overall, this is a happy, upbeat album that is just a bit too )[wB:kG  
polite and well mannered to try and force itself upon your fQQj2>3w  
affections. The production and arrangements are smoother than m)Ta5w^  
your average Starbuck's decaf latte but it is perhaps fair f*o+g:]3  
comment to say that the omnipresent sugar coating will suit \?tE,\Ln  
his fans. However, and maybe this is a reviewer thing, a bit Y#[xX2z9  
of fire and even some unpredictability would have been m9 41 Y  
welcome. Then again, the Bluesbunny was always a quadruple *q
