+dt b~M and roots rock verve. The ten songs here are Garza-ized takes on
!OO{qw(*g Christmas standards: "Jingle Bells," "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,"
ckZZ)lW`* "Away in a Manger," "Feliz Navidad," "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town,"
r 2Wx31j{ "Carol of the Bells," and "Silent Night." The latter two are fine
pFUW7jE instrumentals. "Carol of the Bells,'" especially, is a deeply satisfying
mHnHB . OL guitar and percussion workout that embraces not only hard rhumba
6z (e W]p drumming, but funk, Mexican folk music, and screaming blues-rock.
^LO`6, Hopefully, their version of "Run Rudolph Run" will make Chuck Berry
\k8| 3Y~g proud, with its rumbling upright piano and bassline, and Henry's guitar
