gV&z2S~" and roots rock verve. The ten songs here are Garza-ized takes on
/}-CvSR Christmas standards: "Jingle Bells," "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,"
aF03a-qw< "Away in a Manger," "Feliz Navidad," "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town,"
v\(2&* "Carol of the Bells," and "Silent Night." The latter two are fine
7GDHz.IX instrumentals. "Carol of the Bells,'" especially, is a deeply satisfying
t&?i m< guitar and percussion workout that embraces not only hard rhumba
N},n `Yl. drumming, but funk, Mexican folk music, and screaming blues-rock.
1S@v Gq} Hopefully, their version of "Run Rudolph Run" will make Chuck Berry
