to play the guitar. When she was about 15, she wrote her @21G[!%J  
first song, which was about her mother, and which helped oL' :07_  
her to cope with her traumatic childhood. Her musical *GsrG*OM*D  
taste was influenced by her father's large selection of :z=/z!5:j  
vinyl albums which included Pink Floyd, Fela Kuti, Donny 7S<Z&1(  
Hathaway, Jimmy Cliff and Bob Marley. When her father, HaeF`gI^Ee  
who worked part-time as a DJ while studying engineering X/,4hjg  
in Germany, discovered her singing talent he recorded a lyzMKla"  
first demo tape with her in a studio and allowed her to Mnpb".VU#T  
drop out of school at the age of eighteen. (tGK~!cAv

At twenty-one Ayo. moved to London and later lived in l)VMF44  
Paris and New York. During her time in Paris her musical 1`_Mc ]  
talent was noticed by a broader audience, and she gave oB3>0Pm*a.

Omar and Cody Chesnutt, and signed a contract with @]*z!>1

organized by her producer Jay Newland. The album was k1-?2kf"{  
released in June 2006 in Europe and Korea and in November jy@}$g{

At the end of 2007 Ayo. started a concert tour through !;CY @=  
Germany and the United States. On her American tour she 3CQpe  
performed with Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds. On 10 January +$},Hu69j  
2008 she appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman, >R!^aJ  
and on January 26, 2008 the Late Late Show with Craig 1ygu>sKS&A  
Ferguson, performing her song Down on My Knees. In June ^@X =v`C  
2008 the singer started her second tour through the C UBcU

album Gravity At Last at the Compass Point Studios in %_tL}m{?  
Nassau on the Island of New Providence, The Bahamas. She Vp5qul%  
is co-producing the album with Jay Newland. Her band k_}ICKzw1  
includes Keith Christopherson (bass), Larry Campbell 2?-}(F;Z  
(guitars and other string instruments), Lucky Peterson i@B5B2  
(keyboards), Sherrod Barnes (guitar/vocals) and Jermaine >!WJ{M

Parrish (drums). The album with 13 tracks written and %8{' XJ!
