Z&Xp9"j,@; in Germany, discovered her singing talent he recorded a
wOF";0EN first demo tape with her in a studio and allowed her to
Zx 5Ue#I drop out of school at the age of eighteen.
: Hq#co _7b' i6- At twenty-one Ayo. moved to London and later lived in
k@>y<A{;D Paris and New York. During her time in Paris her musical
@=dwvl' W talent was noticed by a broader audience, and she gave
89\ DS!\x9 her first solo concerts, opened 2002 for soul singers
V~fPp"F Omar and Cody Chesnutt, and signed a contract with
oP_}C [ Polydor Records.

ce /& Shortly after giving birth to her son Nile, she recorded
l'twy$V4|~ her first album Joyful in January 2006 in the New York
kn&>4/') Sony studio. The whole disc was recorded in just five
`XrF , days under live conditions, with a group of musicians
DLd1Cl:"~: organized by her producer Jay Newland. The album was
J4#rOS released in June 2006 in Europe and Korea and in November
nWFU8u% 2007 in the United States and Japan.
4^_'LiX3[ 9qI#vH A At the end of 2007 Ayo. started a concert tour through
\`Ow)t: Germany and the United States. On her American tour she
~zhP[qA}) performed with Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds. On 10 January
5aJd:36I 2008 she appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman,

#| and on January 26, 2008 the Late Late Show with Craig
_p;=]#+c& Ferguson, performing her song Down on My Knees. In June
dzs(sM= 2008 the singer started her second tour through the
+jb<=ERV[ United States and Canada.
L&hv:+3N jKr>Ig=$tA On 10 March 2008 Ayo. started recording on her second
Eal*){"<,? album Gravity At Last at the Compass Point Studios in
4KB>O)YNg' Nassau on the Island of New Providence, The Bahamas. She
bDjm:G is co-producing the album with Jay Newland. Her band
>b2wFo/em includes Keith Christopherson (bass), Larry Campbell
U o[\1) (guitars and other string instruments), Lucky Peterson
,$(a,`s) (keyboards), Sherrod Barnes (guitar/vocals) and Jermaine
q#\4/Dt Parrish (drums). The album with 13 tracks written and
u#nM_ UJe composed by the singer was recorded in only 5 days and
\EW<;xq will be released at the end of September 2008 by
DdCNCXU Universal Music France.
