In2 in Germany, discovered her singing talent he recorded a

p&s~O,Bw$ C {*' p+f At twenty-one Ayo. moved to London and later lived in
K]{x0A Paris and New York. During her time in Paris her musical
!=3C e3- talent was noticed by a broader audience, and she gave
/g`!Zn8a her first solo concerts, opened 2002 for soul singers
[ yhK4A Omar and Cody Chesnutt, and signed a contract with
C>:,\=y% Polydor Records.
T Ob( ?on EqH> Shortly after giving birth to her son Nile, she recorded
?8/T#ox her first album Joyful in January 2006 in the New York
=T- jG_.H Sony studio. The whole disc was recorded in just five
xE5 VXYU days under live conditions, with a group of musicians

rg organized by her producer Jay Newland. The album was
m7|S'{+! released in June 2006 in Europe and Korea and in November
3De(:c)@ 2007 in the United States and Japan.
*AG01# ZF ^Z+p_;J$p At the end of 2007 Ayo. started a concert tour through
7? ILmYBw Germany and the United States. On her American tour she
%RIlu[J performed with Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds. On 10 January
4xF}rm 2008 she appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman,
i8!err._ and on January 26, 2008 the Late Late Show with Craig

|`) k album Gravity At Last at the Compass Point Studios in
]dT]25V Nassau on the Island of New Providence, The Bahamas. She
