M!^ taste was influenced by her father's large selection of
]mO+<{{4X vinyl albums which included Pink Floyd, Fela Kuti, Donny
m ISu o Hathaway, Jimmy Cliff and Bob Marley. When her father,

xz+`]Q O,xAu}6f+ Shortly after giving birth to her son Nile, she recorded
tgF(=a]o her first album Joyful in January 2006 in the New York
.pu`\BW> Sony studio. The whole disc was recorded in just five
~E6+2t* days under live conditions, with a group of musicians
ofrlTw&o organized by her producer Jay Newland. The album was
%},S#5L3 released in June 2006 in Europe and Korea and in November
[ q+ 39 2007 in the United States and Japan.
|s3HeY+Co 1.d9{LO [- At the end of 2007 Ayo. started a concert tour through

?/i%TQ Germany and the United States. On her American tour she
+uGP(ONY performed with Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds. On 10 January
OFAqP1o{$ 2008 she appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman,
#pn AK and on January 26, 2008 the Late Late Show with Craig
m&z %kVsg] Ferguson, performing her song Down on My Knees. In June
[6gHi.`p' 2008 the singer started her second tour through the
@/2wmza%2 United States and Canada.
yURh4@ om39;nk!} On 10 March 2008 Ayo. started recording on her second
,'{B+CHoS album Gravity At Last at the Compass Point Studios in
wm`"yNbD Nassau on the Island of New Providence, The Bahamas. She
2uR4~XjF is co-producing the album with Jay Newland. Her band
C%o/ includes Keith Christopherson (bass), Larry Campbell
2+Y`p z47W (guitars and other string instruments), Lucky Peterson
9oN'.H^ (keyboards), Sherrod Barnes (guitar/vocals) and Jermaine

Parrish (drums). The album with 13 tracks written and

ej53O/hP will be released at the end of September 2008 by
