$pJ3xp& KK MW D\ 由Nathan（28岁，鼓手／合音）、Caleb（25岁，吉他／主唱）、Jared（21岁，贝斯／合音）以及Mathew（23岁，吉他／合音）Followill等四位年轻家族成员所组织而起的Kings Of Leon，由於父亲是传教士之因，兄弟们跟著父亲游遍整个美国南部，母亲则在家担任起教育工作，有时他们也会上一些教会学校攫取新知。1997年父亲脱掉传教士衣袍，同与爱侣离婚，随后搬到Nashville居住，Nathan、Caleb、Jared三位亲兄弟找来堂兄弟Mathew於2000年正式建立起Kings Of Leon，起初仍盘旋在摇滚与乡村乐抉择中，最后仍以摇滚为基调，广泛摄取多变早期原始音源，陆续推出《Youth And Young Manhood》与《Aha Shake Heartbreak》两张全登上英国排行季军之好评佳作。
