y}r Kristy Lee Cook (born January 18, 1984) is an American country music singer who released an album, Devoted, under the name Kristy Lee. In addition, she was also the seventh place finalist on the seventh season of the television series American Idol. She signed in June 2008 to Arista Nashville with an album release due later in 2008.

Cook's "15 Minutes of Shame" single was released as the lead-off for Cook's studio album. The single debuted at number 58 on the Country Charts (a week before its release), and it as since peaked at #46. Her album, Why Wait, was produced by Brett James. Kristy is known for her love for animals and how her horse saved her life. She sold her barrel horse to get transportation to Philadelphia to try out for American Idol and the new owner got so attached that he would not sell it back.
