oZkjg3 YzqUOMAt"V Since their inception, High Places have created a signature

sound out of using bass-heavy yet crisp beats, lilting vocal
]E\o
<"#t/ melodies and syncopated rhythmic lines performed on folk
ao]Dm#HiO percussion instruments, guitar duets turned into treated
ua%$r[ samples, and percussive lines created from the manipulation of
m?]XNgT household objects. The songwriting is expansive and fluid, all
b Z0mK$B the while managing to be concise. High Places gravitate toward
p^~AbU'6~ the organic over the electronic, and that natural aesthetic

"|yuP1;L 0HA` High Places' self-titled debut was recorded by the band's Rob
eot]VO: Barber and Mary Pearson in their apartment in Brooklyn's Fort

The album has a contemplative and organic lyrical tone
t%$> emphasized by the themes of goodness manifested in nature,

uz6S7I is further accented through the recurring mention of trees and
