[q 1Unm Hathaway, Jimmy Cliff and Bob Marley. When her father,

in Germany, discovered her singing talent he recorded a
s2^B(wP first demo tape with her in a studio and allowed her to

D_ G)c Paris and New York. During her time in Paris her musical

\QGa 4_# Z ] '> Shortly after giving birth to her son Nile, she recorded
'G8 ?'u_) her first album Joyful in January 2006 in the New York
,HZYG4, Sony studio. The whole disc was recorded in just five
c_#*mA"+ days under live conditions, with a group of musicians
#F!Kxks organized by her producer Jay Newland. The album was
gXt O*Rfqk released in June 2006 in Europe and Korea and in November
/Pk:4,
2007 in the United States and Japan.
O= aw^|oj] =p q:m At the end of 2007 Ayo. started a concert tour through
T6uMFD4 | Germany and the United States. On her American tour she
} ~F~hf>s performed with Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds. On 10 January
^LVk5l)\>g 2008 she appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman,
+< yhcSSTB and on January 26, 2008 the Late Late Show with Craig
n3$g x,KL Ferguson, performing her song Down on My Knees. In June
xIL#h@dz 2008 the singer started her second tour through the

g[K> United States and Canada.
o\4 CoeG RDJ+QOVKg On 10 March 2008 Ayo. started recording on her second

J album Gravity At Last at the Compass Point Studios in
|n`PESf_ Nassau on the Island of New Providence, The Bahamas. She
.*V kua is co-producing the album with Jay Newland. Her band
#Ao !>qCE includes Keith Christopherson (bass), Larry Campbell

= (guitars and other string instruments), Lucky Peterson
{E51Kv&_ (keyboards), Sherrod Barnes (guitar/vocals) and Jermaine
t`YWwI. Parrish (drums). The album with 13 tracks written and
PNpu*# Z` composed by the singer was recorded in only 5 days and
?v4E<iXs will be released at the end of September 2008 by
|@RpWp>2 Universal Music France.
