ga!t:O@w in Germany, discovered her singing talent he recorded a
\GB v @ first demo tape with her in a studio and allowed her to
ky[FNgQ3n drop out of school at the age of eighteen.

rZ At twenty-one Ayo. moved to London and later lived in
esFBWJ Paris and New York. During her time in Paris her musical
_AK-AY talent was noticed by a broader audience, and she gave

0(HUy`]> Omar and Cody Chesnutt, and signed a contract with
JrS|Ib)6 Polydor Records.

<Y<%=` her first album Joyful in January 2006 in the New York
Fb.wm Sony studio. The whole disc was recorded in just five
Wc#4%kT days under live conditions, with a group of musicians
U%m,:b6V organized by her producer Jay Newland. The album was
$xNZ.|al released in June 2006 in Europe and Korea and in November
G4]T 2007 in the United States and Japan.
<08)G7 z GA1 At the end of 2007 Ayo. started a concert tour through
?>DN7je Germany and the United States. On her American tour she
"}(*Km5Po performed with Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds. On 10 January
j%Usui<DL 2008 she appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman,
g \&Z_ and on January 26, 2008 the Late Late Show with Craig
1Sx2c Ferguson, performing her song Down on My Knees. In June
bRfac/:} 2008 the singer started her second tour through the

^ #KkO3 album Gravity At Last at the Compass Point Studios in

q0 Nassau on the Island of New Providence, The Bahamas. She
